Special Announcement!!!!

It’s time to stop neglecting my poor baby blog. I really need to spend more time here, and share my creative works with you. I tend to use Instagram and YouTube more, but with today’s special announcement, I’m making the call to keep my blog up to date - fingers crossed lol. So now for the announcement.......

Yes, it is official. I am a part of the fabulous team that makes up the 2018-2019 Colour Blast DesignTeam. I’m so excited to be a part of this awesome creative team. Starting in August, I will be sharing projects made with the fabulous colour blast products. I can’t wait to get started. Happy Arting Chrissi xxx

April’s scrap the Boys Challenge

When I saw the April challenge for the scrap the boys blog, an idea came to me right away. This months challenge was “Let’s go Geo!”

I decided to make a mixed media background using a collection of my geometric stamps. I then wanted to add a focal point of colour. I decided to use my Colour Blast Shimmer Powders for this. I love the way this layout turned out.

March Kaisercraft Blog Challenge

So this months challenge on the Kiasercraft Blog was purple. Using last years Pantone colour of the year.

As always, we must use 80% kaisercraft products. I decided to make an art journal page for this months challenge. So i grabbed my fave Kaisercraft stamps, and somr eggplant kaiser paint and my dylusions journal, and went to it.

I started with my paint and painted on a background, then using a stencil and a wet one, i took off some of the colour to give me a layered background. Then i went at it with my stamps. The kaisercraft backround stamps are some of my fave to ass texture to my pages. Then i added some white paint through a kaisercraft stencil for some contrast. To finish off my page i added a figure from a magazine and used some heavy body white paint, to paint on my title.

In the end, an art journal page i just love. Happy Scrappying, (and arting) Chrissi xxx
